Let's talk about designing cities for—fun!
The idea of intentionally creating spaces for play in our cities—both for children and adults alike—has gained more and more prominence. It was a part of conversation before the pandemic, and has now come to be seen as a critical urban feature.
Organizations like Cities for Play argue that neighborhoods with these strategies in place are safer, more sustainable, more social, and of course, more joyful. It allows secure and free movement around neighborhoods, interaction with nature and neighbors, and an openness for exploration.

dense Magazine
Dense magazine is an "unlikely design magazine" about New Jersey urban and architectural design. The debut issue unpacks the opening day of the New Jersey Turnpike, and nine issues later, concludes with what was deemed the state's most radical project that never happened. They hope to shine a light on the past in order to reimagine our design future, and at the same time, transform what the future of publishing can look like.
