I'd like to kick off this week's newsletter with a special highlight of a recently completed Ground Up project: Silicon Harlem's Innovation Hub! Since it was founded ten years ago by Clayton Banks, Silicon Harlem has been bridging the digital divide in New York City and beyond. From serving as an internet service provider for vulnerable populations, to creating startup incubators and after-school STEM programs, to fostering partnerships with governmental, tech, and institutional executives, Silicon Harlem lives its mantra every day: "Everyone Needs a Connection" Ground Up was honored to lead design in this innovation hub, and to take part in the unveiling of the space this week with New York City CTO, Matthew Fraser. You can see the full case study here.
