I’m so excited to be participating in the 9th Annual Future Re:ady Communities conference, produced by Silicon Harlem and the C-Better Foundation. This incredible symposium will focus on building resilient, prepared cities through equal access and exposure to technology. The conference will take place next Friday in New York. Silicon Harlem was founded with one simple yet revolutionary goal: To transform Harlem and other urban markets into technology and innovation hubs to fully engage in the digital economy.

Through its innovation center on 135th Street, partnerships with city government, higher education, and private corporations, and consistent community outreach and activation, Silicon Harlem confronts a clear 21st century reality: that cities without equal access to internet and technology are as inequitable as cities without clean water or affordable public transit.
